Schedule:

• Assessment Day is on March 1st, 2025 for the 7-8 Junior Playmakers, 9-10 Rising Stars, and 11-12 Year Old Elite Prospects. (There is no assessment day for the 5-6 year old Little Rookies Division.) 

• Meet the Coaches: March 15th

• 1st Game: March 22nd

• Playoffs: May 10th

• Championships: May 17th

• Practice Days: Wednesdays​

Game days are on Saturdays between the hours of 8 AM & 3 PM.

Age eligibility
MC Sports League divisions are determined by the age of participants by April 1st, 2025.
 

MC Sports League Division Definitions

 

Little Rookies (5-6 years old - Developmental)

The Little Rookies division is designed for children aged 5 to 6 who are just beginning their journey in sports. This developmental league focuses on introducing basic motor skills, teamwork, and the fundamentals of the game in a fun and engaging environment. All skill levels are welcome, and the emphasis is on participation and enjoyment. Coaches guide players through age-appropriate activities and games that promote physical coordination and social interaction, fostering a love for sports and laying the groundwork for future athletic growth.

 

• Advanced 6 year olds may play up in the Junior Playmakers division with league approval and a signed parent waiver. 

 

Junior Playmakers (7-8 years old - Competitive)

The Junior Playmakers division is geared towards children aged 7 to 8, providing a competitive atmosphere for athletes of all skill levels. This league emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of game strategies while maintaining a focus on fun. Participants engage in structured practices and friendly competitions, allowing them to enhance their abilities and build confidence. Coaches create an inclusive environment where all players can learn, grow, and enjoy the game, regardless of their experience level.

 

Rising Stars (9-10 years old - Competitive)

The Rising Stars division caters to athletes aged 9 to 10 who are eager to further develop their skills in a competitive setting. Open to participants of all skill levels, this league prioritizes advanced skill training, strategic gameplay, and teamwork. Coaches provide specialized instruction and mentorship, encouraging players to set personal goals while fostering a spirit of collaboration and sportsmanship. The focus is on improving individual performance and teamwork, allowing every athlete to thrive and enjoy their sporting experience.

 

Elite Prospects (11-12 years old - Competitive)

The Elite Prospects division is designed for athletes aged 11 to 12 who are ready to take their skills to the next level in a competitive environment. This league welcomes players of all skill levels and emphasizes advanced training, tactical understanding, and teamwork. Coaches work closely with participants to refine their skills and enhance their game knowledge, promoting personal growth and development. The focus is on competitive excellence while ensuring that all athletes can enjoy the sport and continue to build their love for the game.
